Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions are important between the client and therapist. It protects both parties in the unlikely event of any disagreements.

Please sign both copies. One is for you and the other is for the therapist.

a)  Initial assessment

When you book online, you will receive an email confirmation of the date, time and location of the appointment.

Verbal feedback will be given and advice and / or recommendations may be given depending on the outcome of the assessment.

If therapy is needed, the therapist will signpost you to therapists that offer therapy sessions.

The therapist will signpost you to other professionals if needed. 

b)  Fees

Fees are subject to change annually at the start of each academic year (September). 

c)  Payment

Please book and pay online using the booking system. Payment is taken straight away. 

d)  Cancellations

If the therapist needs to cancel or reschedule, they will let you know as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel, please contact the therapist as soon as possible. 24 hours’ notice is required.

Non-attendance –  No refund if you do not attend your appointment.

It is your responsibility to inform the therapist if you are unable to make your appointment.

If you cancel your appointment on the day of the appointment a cancellation fee of £35 will be incurred.

e)  Reports

If you have requested a report following an initial or review appointment, you will receive it within 14 days of the appointment.

The report will be emailed to you with a password for you to access.

You are free to share the reports with other professionals

f)  Data Protection

All client details, case notes and correspondence will be stored electronically confidentially according to General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 1988.

g)  Liaison with other professionals

With your consent, the therapist may need to liaise with other professionals involved in their care.

This includes people such as NHS Speech and Language Therapists, school/pre-school staff, your GP or other medical/educational staff.
